OE proton pad is good enough for daily use. Most important is to get the 'best' tyre you can afford! Brake pad stops (or slow down) the wheels, but it is the wheel that stop (or slow down) a car.

i notice oe pads is a bit dissapointing for me interm of grip. at 60k my disc started to show some fine score lines.
oem pads not dusty,,good

so i went to parts shop. ask them i want a good grip. as usual its 100, i asked for something not the best but batter than oem.
they give me a mitsinbo brand, 60rm , its has a squeaking noise, dusty,,,a completely stop it give a biting sound.

whats good about mitsinbo, grips are good, disc shiny un-scored, previous fine scored line is smoothed.
