Hi All,

I also looking on this baby for my 2nd car.

I never drive a conti car b4. But I like their quality. I saw the car b4,
and I was quite amaze with its space, but I had never test drive it b4...

I would like to know more on this baby, before making my decision on it.

Since some of you were driving the new version of kangoo. Possible could
shed some lights on this.

1. handling? How well can it handle? especially on bumpy road
2. how well can it handle corner? (not that in F1 style, but normal drive)
3. how well can it climb? do u feel underpower whn u climb?? (i.e.:
genting highland, or cameron)
4. how powerful is the air cond, on sunny days? (especially in v-kool...
i know some of the dealers actually gives v-kool tints on the kangoo)
5. how far can it runs? (i.e.: RM50 can run how far?)
6. wat will be the maintenance cost? (understand from the forumers, the
auto tranny tends to breaks often, was this truth? how bout manual trans?)
7. how strong is the body? (i.e.: collision happens)
8. how much are you getting you baby?

Thats all I need to ask for the moment...

Warm Regards,

Hi...

"how about the after sales service?...I mean the scheduled sevice and
maintenance..."

First service is on 10,000 km, yes NOT 1,000 km. SA explained that since
the car is already well-tuned, so no need to do serving on the first
1000km. Thereafter every 10,000 km.

"1. handling? How well can it handle? especially on bumpy road
2. how well can it handle corner? (not that in F1 style, but normal drive)
3. how well can it climb? do u feel underpower whn u climb?? (i.e.:

4. how powerful is the air cond, on sunny days? (especially in v-kool...

5. how far can it runs? (i.e.: RM50 can run how far?)
6. wat will be the maintenance cost? (understand from the forumers, the

7. how strong is the body? (i.e.: collision happens)
8. how much are you getting you baby?"

1. Good handling, no need to slow down to much when go through a bump
(small one-lah)
2. From the SA (no sure is true or not?), ABS in the new Kangoo is the
latest Bosch 8.0 ABS with EBA(Emergency Brake Assist) which will make ur
car stable even when u hit an emergency brake during high speed cornering.
3. A new function on the gearbox, called "skipping". When pressed, it will
temporary increase the power of the car for climbing.
4. Air-cond - so-so
5. Dun know about the FC coz hvn't finished 1 full tank.
6, 7. Dun know also
8. I trade-in my old ATOS for it. But the usual offer is RM200 cash
discount + 2 mths free installment.

Hope can answer ur questions!

Cheers

After sales service should be ok under the care of TCE. Some more got 24x7
nationwide support.
Which conti make provide such service?
Talking about depreciation, its all the same with conti's. Can't compare
with japs lah. It's a small price to pay for safety features & solid built.
Enjoy your rideThumbUp

Hi...

After sales service, maintenance and depreciation r main concerns for conti
car owners. From my experience, if u deals with a 2nd hand car dealer,
there is no different between conti & jap cars coz u always get the lowest
price. Maybe if u sell ur car by urself, some famous badges like
Toyota/Honda may have higher 2nd hand value.

Although the looks of the kangoo may be odd to some people the innate values of the car are
way above the competition. I compared the Kangoo against the Avanza and where it wins is
space. Try seating 3 adults in the 2nd row in the Avanza and then do it with the Kangoo...the
results will surprise you. In terms of overall ride and handling, Kangoo wins hands down.
Abrupt lane changes does not unsettle it. On top of that the car come standard with ABS, EBA,
EBD and dual airbags PLUS it is a EURO NCAP 4 star winner. How can the Avanza be declared as
a family vehicle when it does not come with any safety features?!

http://autos.groups..../renaultkangoo/
I bought kangoo last 3 week, as mentined by JJL is very super car. I
wonder why malaysian don't like the kangoo shape/design? i told my
collouge (french guy)that most malaysia not like the kangoo design, he bit
shock because in france most the french love the kangoo, it very famous in
europe....anyway for me, i don,t care what the people say, the important
thing i have a superb car with all the safety features there. I was drove
back to my home town kelantan, last week through jalan bentong-raub-kuala
lipis-gua musang-kota bharu. It was very rained that time but i drove with
high confident level compare to my previous WAJA, clim up the hill (bukit
7), connering, break...i don;t know how to explain here.
