I am interested in Matrix as well. Cute small MPV. :) But I have a doubt
on it's performance and engine quality compare to Vios and City as they
are almost the same price. And also the second value future. Any comments?

Collected my matrix 1.6 yesterday and already clock 150 KM already after
collect the car. Like the car very much except it is a bit thirsty ..:)

Notice they are using Kumho powermax tyre for the 1.6 but I can seem to be
able to find out more information about the tyre on the internet website.
The tyre is a bit noisy .. if I wanted to change to local brand will the
tyre shop trade-in my kumho tyre ?? so that I don't need to top-up so
much...hehe

Also anyone can suggest any good thinting film ??thinking to tint my car
as matrix has a big windscreen and windows if not thinted sure get sun
burn..

Congratulation to you, yeongsheng00, finally got your baby. Evil Do you
enjoy driving it so far? How's the fuel consumption? Satisfied with the
condition?

Does anyone know when will the Matrix be CKD? I will not buy if it is CKD.

Hi All,

Seems like nowadays people hot on Getz topic, little brother of Matrix.
No one would like to update on Matrix anymore. How's all the Matrix owner
doing? Hope that you all enjoy driving it.

Went to test drive the Matrix last Saturday. Quite impressed with the
performance. Like the interior design, looks more high class than Getz.
Might want to book if the feedback from the current Matrix owners are
good.

Hope to hear more update from current Matrixers. Thanks a lot.

paksu72,
I am staying in PG as well. Might want to get some information from you.
Which SA you engage with? What type of tinted they gave you?

Hi chewlf...

I engage with PG Car, Kristal Point SA. I'm not sure what kind of tinted.
My Matrix still wait for custom clearance form. I still follow up for this
tinted. I want to make sure it is JPJ approval material.

R U also have a Matrix or still in planing for it?

Hi paksu,

Thanks for your quick reply.

I am still planning for it. Would like to see how's the response from
Matrix owner because previously was not that many I can see on the road,
but now it seems increasing, I mean in PG. I can see one or two everyday
on my way back after work.

Do you know any other websites that I can source for the Matrix? I would
like to find out more information.

May I know why you choose Matrix? How long you have to wait for the new
car? One week?

What do you think of the SA in PG Car, Kristal Point? Who you engage with?
Before I buy the Matrix, I would also like to trade in my car. I will see
which SA can give me better price.

How many percent you got for the interest rate?

Oops! Too much questions I think. Hope that you don't find me too long-
winded. Tongue

Thanks again. Hope to hear from you soon and also hope that you will get
your new car sooner.

All,
Just some update on my new matrix.. After owning it for 4 day I find
the car is fun to drive and the performance is not that bad ( if you are
cruising normal speed 90~ 110 )

The bad thing about the car is the petrol comsumption is bad, I put in RM
55 I manage to clock 228 at the moment (still got half tank to go)
estimate should be able to clock up to 350 KM for RM55..

The NVH is good except the korean tyre is a bit noisy.. No $$$ to change
at the moment..

other than that me and my wife love this car a lot... hear that they are
goign to CKD this model next year Q1. but I dont think I wanted to get the
CKD ....

Saw the AP form, the original car price for matirx is only RM 24K+ and the
import duties is 60 % plus 10%(no sure what the 10% for)..

Hi yeongsheng,

Thanks. This is definitely an useful update for everyone. Where did you
hear the news from regarding the CKD next year? Where can we get reliable
source from? This is important as they going to CKD next year, that means
I have to get my Matrix within this year so that able to get the CBU model.

Don't like the CKD model as well. Somemore the price difference few
thousands only.

Have you tinted your car? What type of tinted you use? Any other mod that
you have done so far?
