Dear S80,

Hi, anyone own an rx8?
No idea. This place is not popular with rotary owners.

Is there an rx8 club?
http://www.rx8clubmalaysia.com/

Is it reliable?
Yes, reliable but subject to you getting a good condition one and you
dont trash the car on purpose.

safe to purchase as recond?
As safe as any other car except that not many mechanics know how to
maintain

ease of maintanence?
For regular maintenance like full fluid changes, easy. But the 80,000KM
tear down inspection is not so easy and only a few mechanics can do it.

Also, fuel consumption is a bitch. Not recommended to buy because of
this reason.

S80,

NP.

A colleague of mine got an RX8, grey, full sinkha spec. Very nice car.
Cornering is very very good. Acceleration is so smooth all the way to
8900, very beautiful.

The other day, he was out with a few Lan Evo during raining. One corner
he did a beautiful drift. But it turn out, he step the brake too hard
and the floor got puddle so it was a sudden oversteer. Yet he can
control the car very well even though little experience in drifting.
From outside, looks beautiful. Inside, he was shocked the car could
respond so well.
