i'm looking for a MR-S budget is aroung RM90K.
my questions:

1. what year can i get with this budget?
2. some frens told me a manual trani is better than the SMT, is that true?
3. can i get spare parts easily since its discontinue?
4. how does the MRS compared to a 7th gen celica, in terms of handling,
and power?

1. what year can i get with this budget?
In teory Malaysia's AP import system "only" allows cars not more than 5 years in age. you are
likely to see "2002" as date of manufacture for non registered ones, you could get 2000-2001 if
they are registered & may just be in the price bracket u are looking at

because most guys like manual, got something to shift mah

????. old corrollla or AE86 or those toyota taxi how??? discontinue production sale only not
discontinue parts.

People can still order a 1985 toyota part if they want but because salvage yard prices are much
cheaper than buying a NEW part (even if its for a 1985 car).

4. how does the MRS compared to a 7th gen celica, in terms of handling,
and power?
if you are concern about handling, and power. read about both cars & make your choise from
there. Its about want type of driving pleasure you seek.

year 2000 from local owner
i drive a SMT, u can shift it up down, same fun as manual, more expensive
car dun even have SMT, go test drive it.
dun know power etc, but they use almost the same engine, but mrs is lighter,
should be faster when race in 1st part.
