Was on my way back to Shah Alam from KLIA yesterday(Friday 6/4). Journey
was fine and was expecting to reach home in about 20 minutes. Suddenly
found the road ahead to be jammed as I reached Dengkil. It was a
frustrating 1/2 hour ride to cover about 2 KM.
Was curious to know what has couse the jam and was thinking it most
probably be an accident since this is an expressway that we are paying to
use and should be fast. At the end of the jam found out it was some JPJ
clowns carrying out their operasi and narrowed down the road from 3 lanes
to 1 and causing a massive jam. It appears those clowns were redirecting
the commercial vans and lorries to the rest area and hence causing a jam.
I was thinking to myself WTF !! we are paying to use this road for
convenience and speed and these selfish people just close the lanes as
they like. Those PLUS clowns also need to be given a kick in the rear for
allowing these checks to be carried out on a expressway.

Sometimes ago. I read a letter posted by a Singaporean who rode a
Singapore registered vehicle into Malaysia.
The letter says that he received a ticket from the police for the tint on
his vehicle. He claims that his tint was approved in Singapore. After the
incident he went around to check and found out that JPJ's rules states
that foreign registered vehicles are exempted as long as their tint is
approved in their respective countries.
Its funny because the person questioned that how come Police didn't know
JPJ's ruling.
I know there are thousands of codes, conducts or rules to follow but its
their duties to master their trade right.

same phenomenon applies to most govt dpt-m,
these civil servants wants the people to serve them, (makes u runs around
for forms, info, approvals, ini tak pass, itu tak boleh..), they r not
out to serve the people .

Come on guys.... this discussion is totally useless. We have to wait for
the 'senior' management to retire first before we can actually do something
good with this entire country. They bribe you with pay increase 400 - 500
ringgit but the cost of living is still high, higher than other developed
countries.
We have to pay the 'road tax' every year + toll + excise duty/tax for the
car and all we get is a crappy road with potholes and traffic jams
everyday. So screw the government, life is not that easy for us so stop
increasing tolls every 6 months.
