can anyone help me, my honda city 2003 idsi fuel consumption is killing me. i've read many article and reviews saying that the city can go for 600 km on full tank. But mine which i just bought 2nd hand can nly go for 260km on a full tank.

FC can vary, but yours is pretty bad. Why not get a mechanic to check out for any leaks in your system. Then get a good tune up and try again.
Another thing is driving style, weather, driving route etc. If heavy footed or driving in city jam, consumption can be really bad. FC for mostly city drive will be the lowest. If mixture of city/highway is mid, and highway drive should give yu the best mileage......
