Brand new Honda HRV, bought 1 year++ with Honda original insurance package by Tokio Marine.
3 June 2016, 9pm - Cannot start; Leave my car inside Sunway Pyramid parking overnight. Called customer service & double confirm with them for tomorrow (public holiday) booking to fix the car issue & she requested to call again tomorrow & shouldnt be any problem even public holiday.
4 June 2016, 12pm++ called Honda service center again & they proposed to send a technician to check the problem first. He came & jump start the car only & he left without doing anything else. So i called Honda again, customer service agent offered a brilliant idea, which is to leave my car there for another night because today is public holiday. I asked what is the warranty period for the battery & he said he cant check, i need to bring the car to the service center then only can check. Isn't that nowaday everything is online? Honda cant even check a simple thing like that? So I asked for a temp battery at least for today & he said Honda policy did not allowed to do so. Really cannot imaging such a Japanese branded company is having this kind of service; in fact, no solution for customer during holiday. Dear all Honda customer out there, you need to pray harder to make sure your HONDA will not break down during any holiday... 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Battery warranty usually 1 year only, but please read the fine prints as it could be less. Is it in your service booklet or car manual?

I know it's too late but very informational and prompt. Car battery warranty normally one year and its life is two year. But if you replace your car battery then you will get higher warranty battery in market up to 5 years. For car battery price and warranty see online.
