Hi, it seems my baby got a transmission problem, so I went for a computer dyno test..test confirm my third gear having a slip..but comes the question Should i overhaul and rebuild or just change to a recon? market price overhaul rm 4250-5000. recon also the same price i was told. any recommendations? please suggest, all opinions welcome

Is the car yours since new? If yes, you know the history of the car, I would recommend rebuild. Rebuild also come with some warranty.

Recon not sure they did a good job or not? or whether they did they recon job or not. Some just clean up chop shop gear box and considered that recon. I heard most cases recon no warranty so you have to check the fine print carefully before you decide.
