Below is my complaint wrote to I Care and hopefully they care , i have taken out some of the introduction of myself ,just share out the main point to you guys .
Case 1 Complaint against Intan Matang Sdn Bhd
On Saturday 10/1/2015 9pm , my car temperature just shoot up at high bar due to engine cooler fan not working. On Sunday 11/1/2015 morning ,i called one of my regular service center (Prima Auto Care Sdn Bhd) manager to check whether any available Proton workshop to repair my car during Sunday and he recommended its Intan Matang . Ok thats good , so i drove my car carefully to Intan Matang , reached about 12pm , visited the at 12.15pm technical executive and explain my car problem , and i also let them know that i will be waiting there . After about half an hour , i saw my car been driven in to the workshop and its a good sign for me , but after 2 hours my car is still left in there with the front bonnet open without any technician checking on it , at 3.30pm the technician came and ask me to visit counter . At this time , they told me sorry they have no stock for my car , need to wait for 2 to 3 days . How can they let customer waited there for hours and told me no stock ? why cant they check and inform earlier ?
Case 2 Complaint against Intan Matang Sdn Bhd
On Monday morning12/1/2015 , one of the technician called me and told me that the spare parts have to wait for a week . I was totally shock ! , im already frustrated when they told me have to wait for 2 to 3 days , i cant accept even more than 1 days . How can they said no stock ? isn't that Proton is made in Malaysia ? If no stock how can they produce so many new cars? Totally unacceptable .
i replied them , please check carefully there is impossible no stock and its just a engine fan. The second time they call me again , told me to find the stock my self , they even ask me to try to call glenmarie . What kind of service center is this ? expect customer to solve problem for them ? . After that they have come to the main point which i think is the profit issue , they told me to send my car back to the place that i used to service (Prima Auto Care Sdn Bhd) , they said "you nak ambil kereta tak? kalao tidak tunggu la satu minggu ... kenapa you datang sini bila ada masalah , baliklah Prima Auto buat service , kamu cuma datang Intan Matang dua kali saja , datang ambil you punya kereta la ,bila you nak ambil kerata you !!"
The reason why i dont send there is because Prima Auto is a very samll workshop with only 2 manpower . i just send there for regular service because my office is just next to them ,
Finally Intan Matang staff even said if it is urgent please send it out side for repair. and they ask me to go Kesas proton edar to check with them whether they have any stock .
In the afternoon , i taken a cab from my house PJ (jln klang lama) to Intan Matang to collect my car and drive it to Proton Edar .which i have called Proton edar personally in the morning to check stock availability and they said they have the stock.
Case 3 complaint against Proton Edar
After reaching Proton Edar i went to the counter ,they told me need to make appointment this and that fine. after going through some complain and finally they get me a CS team leader to assist my problem , she promise she will take care of my issue and have to wait 2 to 3 days .same answer but at least they dint response like Intan Matang .
On Tuesday 13/1/2015 2pm - Mr Nizam called me told me that they lack of one spare parts (some kind of fan) and need to wait till the next day . He himself told me the parts is at Glenmarie shah alam .
My point of view - why cant they send someone to collect the parts which is only located at shah alam , why do they have to wait until the next day ? Dint they have the sense of urgency ? i have already taken 2 days of Emergency Leave due to this matter , cant they just help me out as quick as possible ?
Conclusion , What can i do ? i just have to wait untill tommorow, gona spend another leave for no reason. Above matter has cost me unnecessary taxi fee RM40+ and lots of work undone such as client appointment and meetings.

i understand your frustration as my preve has been in "hospital" many times the past 3 yrs. first the engine block cracked & it took them about a month plus to replace the engine and only after making some noise they provided a replacement car. secondly quite few times the engine stop start button would not respond..finally it was solved did'nt have to wait long fine. then some jerking began to develop & many visits to proton they didnt feel it at all when they drive so they dont bother to rectify..finally one fine day when i went for regular servicing they said they will update the software as mine is outdated and after that no more jerking at all. then one day the aircon was not cold so i went to regular workshop they dont have facilities to check aircon so they asked me to go to another bigger workshop..i told them i dont have time due to work schedule and if i can leave my car there so they can do it on my behalf and any charges are fine with me..but they didnt oblige at all..so i passed my car to a independant workshop to fix it...it was wiring problem & it took them one month to fix it and i paid rm1000. then the airbag sign start to light up and they said they need a one and half day to fix it as well as fix some other "recall" issue which was the radiator fan wire harness. oh my goodness why they didnt call me earlier if there was a recall for the wire harness ?? why wait till i turn up with some other problem and make use of the opportunity to fix recall isssues ??
i got pissed off with this stupid car whereby there are lots of defects and one after another will manifest slowly over the years !!! how can a brand new car be like this ?? one or two defects is understandable even expensive cars have defects i do agree but imagine the past 3 years iam bogged with defects alone.
i had a old kelisa paid up so trade in for a new myvi and started using ot for my work and all problems of waiting in workshop and having to go through defects of all sort has finally ended !!! the myvi is so far good and the workshop themself call me when its due for service and it takes less than 45mins to get it serviced..not like in proton workshop need to wait at least 2 to 3 hours for regular service where they change engine oil / filter !! could not sell the preve as nobody wants that piece of metal for good price (good price here means i don't need top up bank more than 5k) .
so its lying at home i do use it occasionally other times my wife use for market. i agree with your title of think before getting a proton.
