when you say more, how much more are we looking at?
surfing around, i see SOME ads. but none of which list any pricing for me to do any good budgeting and planning.

Hard to say because different brand different price and what standard of speakers needed. Do you know what speakers you have now? Is your car on 4 speakers system, meaning 2 in front could be mounted probably on your front door and the other 2 at the back board above your boot. Then what size 4", 5", 6". Are they two way system means speakers with tweeters?
You can window shop at Brother's HQ in Kelana Jaya. They have both branded and unbranded units. You can cash and carry and fit it some where else, DIY or fit it there. If not mistaken, branded HU with USB should be around RM400 up, then match with the speakers you want.. hope this helps
