BM & Merc are good in breaking down. Do you guys notice that most new cars
with bonnet cover opened lying at road side are mostly BM/Merc?

That is what happens when you bring recon europeans. I think they still
lag behind Japan when it comes to real world testing. Japs test their new
models in extreme weather everywhere, the floods of Thailand, desert of
Sahara, snow of Artic etc.

My 1st car was ford laser TX3 1986's model. I bought from one lady in 1996
for RM27K. Dia punya pick up fuhhhh....superb. You can overtake any
vehicles in normal road easily without changing over to lower gear. I
used it for 4 years before i bought new waja and then i got married. i
switched to waja because i need a new 4 doors punya car + budget. My wife
already have her own kancil. I'm not selling my ford but i give to my
brother to use it. Jual pun takde harga, buat apa. Used car dealer want it
for RM10k aje. See, how much the different? I dont know why? Eventho his
age almost 18 years, body still ok. Bukan tin milo punya.

b4 i start...pls. accept my apologies...

I personally don't like Ford cars...i have the perception
that it is unreliable car.... I owned a Ford Probe coupe
in USA...it gives lots of head ache... do u know that
even Ford is a US car....is not as popular as Japanese
cars even in its home country and the resale value
is really bad!...(except the sales of Ford Mustang are quite
good!)

well phoonly, no need to apologize.

In that case, i owned a honda prelude back in the late 80s in US and
unfortunately, i got a lemon car. lucky for me that i don't have the
perception that all hondas are unreliable.

I understand first impression is very important, but hey, perception ain't
everything...

Wah, so bad meh?

My US Ford Taurus is quite good, no trouble except for the time when I
forgot that it was winter and put water into the windshield washer tank.

Other than that, only one minor accident with an illegally parked lorry,
and broke my right wing mirror.

Quite a number of Taurus in US, could challenge the Camry (best selling
in US).

He he! Maybe US Ford quality is like M'sian Protong. But at least it's
still cheap. For our Ford Lynx price, can buy entry level Lincoln (high
end Ford) already if our ringgit convert to US dollar.
