already bought my car 1 week ago.
so far no regret, lotus handling is great, stable cornering on 100km/h smile_approve.gif smile_thumbup.gif

lots of good thing about persona, ive driven a few times.
handling is good, plastic is scratch proof, solid body.

little bit about persona, is its near vertical rear seat, and if u go high speed like 140, the engine got trashy because its as if its asking for imaginary 5th gear , the auto 4th gear at nearly 4000 to go at 140kmh. in cvt like saga, 140 is at less then 3400rpm.

thats what i think,
but its a good buy.

1 thing that i believe we should acknowledge is that Proton has done a better job in Quality for the past few years...compared to during its dark time @ early 2000s (era of waja, savvy, gen-2, juara etc.). No coincident that its market share took a sharp dive at that time, which i suspect Proton could never recover from (heck, its annual volume never even really close to touch the 200k units mark ever, again) .

But still, A LOT of things need to be improved if they're really to reach global standard.

Yes they have improved but QC wise still a lot to go. However it's offset with the warranty.

it then followed up with After Sales Services... They are still struggling to standardize and balance the quality of their workshops especially outsourcing too much to outside dealers and doing things without standard.

They did pick up during Myvi's launch that Proton was in a terrible shit.. I bought myself a Proton again and never believed I would continue to own a Proton but I can't say I am too happy with some quality...

let's hope they continue to improve

its a good value actually, good spec....dual airbag,ABS,disk brake all around...
.and now finally its official , service to be done every 10000km NOT 5000k.....smile.gif

its a refined car, power is more than adequate...interior looks old now bt fit n finish is not bad....
by now all major issue should be ironed out bcos its been in the market for ages...

and as with every proton,u always have to remember the price, jus to make ur expectations lower abit...

What do you mean now it is official that service interval is at 10k km?
It is clearly printed in the owner's manual that it is 10 k km for normal service interval all this while, there was never any doubt except for the service center which wants you to service at twice the interval for more profit.

Or perhaps now because of the free 3 year service being offered it suddenly becomes implemented at 10 k km intervals?

Shame on you PROTON!
