CONCLUSION:
....These cars are simply too problematic, and if its already bad enough during warranty period, imagine the nightmare you'll have AFTER the warranty expires.

Most people prefer to remain silence and hide frustration after spending so much buying these cars.

Well one thing for sure, been driving the Golf TSi for 4 years and 4 months already without any DSG issue. They have recalled it once and changed the mechatronic unit.
The issue I have was the Engine piston failed on me last year. Have to tow the car back. VW replaced it with a new engine.

i’m driving a VW car.
my experience with VW has been nothing but good. And yes i faced DSG failure with this car b4, but it does not happen 24/7 nor it takes months for repair. FYI, it only took 3 days to replace the mechatronic.
but so far i'm still satisfied with my car..
