yes....again malaysia is a country where car prices are inflated and choices made are very much determined by the resale value of cars...so even if a car company not familiar to malaysians makes the best executive car in the world and sells it at the price of toyota camry....camry will still outnumber the car 30:1 or even more...it's not Malaysians do not think it's not worth buying....just the majority worry too much about not being able to sell their cars in the future...nobody is arguing just explaining =.=

I do not worry so much about resale value. I will use the car until it drops to its' minimum value, therefore, no difference for me. I own Peugeot 308T. I have gone thorugh forums and knows all its' problems. Same thing again, I like the car so much (you can not find a continental turbo hatchback at this price) and think that I can be the lucky one.
After the car has problems, I start to regret but not to the car quality, is service quality provided by service centers.
All cars have all sort of problems. You can nto avoid to have minor problems. A good service center turns minor problems to no problem but Naza's service centers turn minor problems to major problems.
Why Malaysians like high resale value car? If a car has problem, he still can sell it with no or minimum lose...........If I sell my car now (emphasize again, not the car but to the service center)..................No way.......wait until end of warranty and service it outside. Fortunately, I did not accept Nasim's offer to extend warranty for another 2 years.

The DS4 and DS5 are not meant to be volume sellers.
Just like you don't see vw scirocco being volume sellers.
Your 308T is a volume seller that's why it is cheap.

The owner would have to spend a long time cleaning the interior though...there's so many buttons, design features, nooks and crannies inside there..
Wished I got enough dough for another car...the DS5 looks like nothing else on the roads. It's just such a shame that Citroen had not fitted the hydroneumatic suspension system to the DSs.
DS4 looks good too, however those rear doors looks scary...might impale a motocyclist if the fella did not check before opening the back doors..

What for waste time with Citroen?

Or just get a used Wira and modify it. Sure can sprint faster than these tow DSs

Disappointed with the suspension system, was really interested. The hybrid turbo diesel is a babe but I'm sure it will be way beyond my budget,if it was brought!

Then the 3 series or 5 series is volume seller? But I can see them on the road very often. If this really a worth car as some other thought, then I should expect too see it on the road for the number equal to the Benz or BMW. Of course, I can not expect it will be selling like Myvi.

It is easy for us to say a car is worth to buy based on price and spec given. But when you are in a position to buy a car, ask yourself honestly for my question here.
Will you spend RM30k more for VW CC or just buy directly VW Passat?
Will you just buy Accord or Camry or Teanna over DS5?
For me, I will definitely not go for DS% for RM195K.
Suggest you pay a visit to Citroen showroom and judge by yourself on the reasonably of the both the DS priced.
I owned DS4, so, I will still recommend it to my friend for those who has 165k budget and looking for something special in outlook with relatively high quality of build-up.
As for DS5, after I pay a visit today, I will said it is definitely worth for RM195K. (pls also compare with our neighboring country or even UK, Netherlands...)
In overall, both of these car is for special niche market and therefore, as explained by some of the PPL here is not targeted for large volume of sales, I agreed.
I can understand that most of the DS owner all around the world is buy for the car design and build quality in term of performance.
If look for performance at this price range, I recommend for second-hand EVO..
Eventually, you will have to compromise on Wira-like or Inspira-like looks...
