There is a new D-Max coming soon. It's a sister of the Chevy Colorado so if you want an idea of what it's like, pay a visit to a Chevy dealer. It's one of a new generation of pick-ups which is chasing the 'active lifestyle' market and is rumoured to be much better for every day driving as well as off-road. I believe the engine is different from the Chevy though.

I've heard that they are keeping the existing engines.

Hilux's comfort is the worst.

Tar road handling is the worst and most unstable at cornering.

Triton most comfortable and best on road handling but I suspect her durability and toughness.

IMO, DMAX is the best compromise. But lost out to Hilux on resale value and spare parts availability.

I prefers to use my head than follow the crowd. After all, it is my money and not theirs.

May be I can help for other members?

I try Colorodo2.8 (naza), Triton new model (glenmarie mitsu) and navara (ss15).

I also try Wildtrek Ranger. only today I tried hilux 2.5 new one got scoop on bonet.

wildtrek have strongest road feeling no goyang goyang also confident stable feeling. This is my first choice.

second is hilux new 2.5. better more quiet than the old model. solid stable feeling. nice turbo sound.

thirrd is Colorodo. Engine sangat bising. engine sound like old powerfull truck.

4th Navara. Back sitting for small children only. jumpy feeling on speeding bump.

5th is Triton new intercoler model. comfotable but lousy cornering and goyang goyang macam sampan.

I also looking so i know some of you members are same as me.

best is you test for yourself.
