Please see this video:

where the car thieves stole a car battery. What surprise me is how they managed to open the hood by sticking their hands into the left tire well. It seems they are trying to access something under the bonnet through the tire well. Anyone knows what they were trying to pull/cut under the hood?
Note: for some strange reason, the video is mirrored, so left side is actually right side ad vice versa.

i wonder ...
were they pulling a prank to be posted up on the Tube?
to prove the stale point that wiras are pushovers many times over when it comes to theft?
or they weren't smart enough and got caught on camera?
they KNEW that vehicle ain't got no alarm OR that the alarm won't go off as far as the hood itself is concerned
they might as well take off with the car itself
but they didn't

Yes, it could be a "show", but then the sound is not included in the video so we wouldn't know if the alarm sounded and they swiftly cut off the horn wire.

could be true, also, yes....
but they sure took their time ... even when taking off
sure hope one of the neighbours took a vid at ground level and went to the coppers with it
