If you know where is Puspakom Padang Jawa, it will be easy to direct you...
From Puspakom traffic light take right. You will see Toyota service centre on your left, and on your right there`s a junction to go in. The shop is inside. Car Gate Workshop.. On the junction, you will see a Kedai Jual Kereta Terpakai..
Just went there last tuesday...

2. I just finished my 3 years warranty, and thinking of doing it outside. Toyota SC labour charge really expensive.

Just try my luck if anyone out there at least those who is familar with 3.0 D4-D engine can share.

I just got my 2005 model and have few questions;

1. What the idling speed (rpm)? Mine idle 700 rpm at working temp but intermittenly drop to 600 rpm when aircond off/compressor off, which i think a bit low.

2. What ur average fuel comsumption? Mine hardly reach 9km/ltr even in highway.

Hi, I am from JB. I owned 2 Prados. One 1996 1kz without intercooler. One 2005/2008 1kd with intercooler. The older one is a direct import. The newer one is recond. I am the 2nd owner for both.
The 1kz can do 500+km on full tank. The 1kd can do 700+km on full tank. I am using Euro 5 diesel for both.
I prefer the responsiveness of the 1kz. The 1kd on my Prado120 is a sleepy fellow. I don't understand why.

Does anyone know why Toyota Malaysia does not sell Prado? The salesman says difficult to find replacement parts?

My Prado Landcruiser 2005 3.0 diesel recently has a strange problem : There is low humming sound and steering vibration at around 50-60kph and then around 100-110kph. 

My technician at first said sounded like the left front wheel bearing. After checking, the bearing was ok. Then he noticed that my tires were uneven and told me that must be the cause of the problem. 

Sadly, after changing all 4 tires to the latest Michelin LTX Force tires (with wheel balancing and alignment done), the problem has NOT been solved.

What else can be the problem?
