...even more Polos and Golfs on the road too... but hardly (if ever) saw a Jetta yet.

I think the number shows .... That Malaysians can't accept the high price of the Jetta. I too see so many Passats on the road but hardly any Jetta

Not just relatively high pricing, but also relatively stingy in terms of equipment level as compared to a Golf TSI (around 7k more), Passat (altho around 30k more, the buyers' pull towards the Passat is greater than the Jetta), and even the 'puny' Polo GTI (around 20k less) is much better specced up than the Jetta.
I know some will say different size, different class and different segment, but they can be no doubt that for those whose budget is broad and don't mind the above, I think the Jetta would be the last choice out of the above.

The Jetta Hybrid will be interesting. With the taxes removed it will give the Prius a good fight.

Just launched at car show but it'll give the T & H hybrids a good run for their money if priced right.
