Do no why Peugeot 207 selling like hot cake for past 2 month....Yesterday I was in bangs shopping center... I have to queue for booking leh????

Nasim's latest promotion for the 207 / 207 sv is really eye catching. The family just got the 207 as a spare car. Sadly though, it's not the SV. The SV looks way better and more aggressive with the bodykits. *sigh. But I won't be driving it much so I guess it's fine. That said, with or without the body kit, I still think it's good value for your RM.

So now there will be two Lions in the house! Hurrah! Should be getting it this week if all goes well. musik19.gif

Finally brought the 207 home last week smile_cool.gif

After I took it out for a spin, I realized that between 20 - 50km/h, the engine noise is rather loud / noticeable? But it's smooth sailing at speeds above 60km/h. Is this normal for the 207?

Would appreciate any feedback from other members.

don't really notice it but it is not as quiet as the 308 and it is expected due to price difference.

True that smile_thumbup.gif was just wondering if other 207s were like.

nope, no funny noises. by the way, my car already reached 18,000km. so far so good. changed the front absorbers (cos i went into one very, very, very bad hole) and one engine mount so far. by the way, if you are slowing down for traffic lights or toll, around say, about 20kph or 30kph, and the transmission makes a sudden jerk as it downshifts, don't panic. it is called shift shock and is perfectly normal. this is one of the characteristics of the al4 transmission. happens in most al4 equipped cars. as i hv mentioned many moons before, the al4 was designed to mimic the feel of a manual (as how the french like it), so, you won't find japanese slurred gear changes here. just a reminder note to those new to the al4.
