Hi bro,

Suitable oil for your Turbo Diesel is Caltex Delo 400, or Fuchs HPE Ultra, both are SAE 15W40 - API CI-4.

10W40 is lighter oil for diesel engine, it will produce more noice if you using 10W40.

Caltex Delo 400 15W40 is good. But any 15W40 oil that has JASO DH-1 rating is good to use. Look at the small print on the bottle.

I prefers to use my head than follow the crowd. After all, it is my money and not theirs.

I do not know exactly what is the specification of XH7 but if it has this specification below, then DO NOT USE. More expensive does not mean it is better.

Again, if Castrol Magnatec has this specification. DO NOT USE.

If you can't find Delo, Shell Rimula 15W40 is far far better than these 2 product you suggested. I think it does have JASO DH-1 rating. You can go find a bottle and check it out yourself

I'm now visiting Shell Malaysia web site, they don't have Shell Rimula on their catalogue but only Advance and Helix. If visit their global site can see Rimula R3-R4-R5-R6

Go to any one of the numerous Shell petrol station. Pick up one of those black bottled Rimula 15W40 and see for yourself.
