I am a huge Alfa fan,...but things are pretty quiet for Alfa in Malaysia for quite a while.
Is there any plans for a Giulleta (replacement of 147) coming to Malaysia?
From the magazines reviews, it is a real decent car,...which matches class leader VW Golf...
It looks quite good as well.
Wonder how much it is gonna cost,...or Alfa had given up totally on Malaysian market?

Not easy when their main distributor in KL also distributes another European brand which happens to have GODLIKE status in Malaysia.
And their showrooms aren't exactly in the most popular areas.
I would estimate sometime next year. The 159 arrived here late, the Mito as well, no reason why the giulleta would arrive early.

Washing a car should be an artform, not a chore.

The 159 arrived late because SDAC made a big boo-boo bringing too many 156s, 147s and GTs and ended up not being able to sell them at the price they were asking. They ended up exporting many unsold cars to UK. They also made a boo boo by bring in only 2.0 selespeed variants for those models, and no manual trannies so their market became much more limited.
Only after they managed to clear those old stocks did they bring in the 159 in 2009, and only one variant again at first, the 2.2JTS selespeed. Again, they limited the choices of the Alfisti here.
To their credit they did bring in the 3.2JTS albeit in limited quantity last year but the 159 is already an old model and has lost its lustre somewhat. It was launched in '05, S'pore received the 159 in '06, M'sia only in '09. The 159 has already stopped production, and only left with one engine variant the 2.0JTDm (diesel). See link below.

With regards to the Giulietta, We will only probably see it next year. There are some issues with tropicalising the car for our climate. Even in Singapore, the Giulietta is not sold yet. S'pore was supposed to receive the car late last year but AR Italy found that the car has some temperature issues in hot climates and they need to address the issue by providing items like bigger engine fan, alternator, etc which requires more product testing. thus even SDAC deliveries was delayed. Once S'pore gets the Giulietta, you can be rest assured that the Giulietta will be sold by SDAC, most likely in TCT (Twin Clutch Transmission) form.
SDAC is left with their last batch of 159s, and after that they have nothing left to sell, mebe a Spider or Brera, dun see any Mitos, and i guess they will have to wait for the Giulietta when the tropicalised version is ready.
Then again, there is/was a Giulietta QV/Cloverleaf in M'sia, brought in by a private importer, see link below;

The car supposedly has been sold but no one i know has seen it on the road.
