Terengganu chap pockets 15 prizes from Shell

Ten Malaysian motorists from all around the country gathered at The Hilton Kuala Lumpur for the final challenge of the Shell Pump and Stand to Win RM500,000 contest. With finalists coming from as far as Sabah and Johor, the biggest winner hailed from Terengganu, with En Abdul Rashid bin Abdullah taking home 15 prizes worth in excess of RM40,000.

Celebrating his win, Abdul Rashid said, “I was at a loss for words when my name was announced. I had hoped to be the grand prize winner but I never really thought that I’d be going home with so many amazing and useful prizes. This has already been such a memorable journey and now I will never forget this, thanks to Shell!”

Launched in September nationwide, participation in the 10-week contest was opened to all motorists who fueled a minimum RM30’s worth of any shell fuel, purchased Shell lubricants, or any Shell Select items. Each week, a weekly winner took home RM50,000 cash, and those ten weekly winners were the finalists vying for the RM500,000 prize.

According to Leslie Ng, Retail National Sales Manager of Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn Bhd, “This year alone, we have rewarded more than 23,000 winners. This takes our commitment to another level by consistently giving our customers the opportunity to further enhance their lifestyle.”
