Four win Abu Dhabi trip at Shell Helix Ferrari World Challenge Finale

The Shell Helix Ferrari World contest has come to its conclusion with grand finals having taken place at Berjaya Times Square Theme Park last weekend. Fifteen finalists participated in the event, with Seah Sin Jiun, Kok Chee Seng, Rahizah Mastar and Ghazali Ahmad emerging triumphant to win themselves an all-expenses trip to Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi.

At Times Square, the 15 finalists went through a series of challenges that included flag signals, solving riddles, a blind-folded taste test, a rollercoaster ride, a bumper car crash and memory recall among others. The event was the finale and second of the two-tier ‘Shell Helix Win the Fastest 48 Hours of Your Life in Abu Dhabi’ contest from 15 June to 31 August 2011.

Participation in the contest was open to customers who purchase a four-litre pack of Shell Helix Ultra fully synthetic oild or Shell Helix HX7 motor oil. In the first tier of the contest, customers had to count the number of Shell Helix Ultra packs printed on the entry form and submit their entries. According to Ms Seow Lee Ming, Cluster Marketing Manager, Shell Lubricants SEA-South the contest drew in 6,000 entries from around the country.

Attractions awaiting the four winners at Abu Dhabi include the chance to try out Ferrari’s Formula One and Gran Turismo driving simulators, the world’s fastest roller coaster with speeds up to 240kph, travel through the heart of a V12 engine, and tour of a recreated Shell trackside laboratory. All of the above are in addition to the opportunity of watching Ferrari’s F150 cars piloted by Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa racing against the likes of Button, Hamilton, and Vettel in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at the Yas Marina Circuit.
