Concept Models At 33rd Thailand International Motor Expo 2016

Here are some pictures of the concept models displayed at the Thailand International Motor Expo which will be open to public from 1 – 12 December at IMPACT Challenger, Muong Thong Thani near Bangkok city.

Hyundai Enduro

A compact 3-door crossover concept inspired by the Hyundai Veloster. It has the signature hexagonal grille that’s connected to an oversized fender by an aluminum blade. The steering wheel is designed to resemble the handle of a bike and the cabin gives the driver a cocoon-like feel. This concept has a 2-liter inline-four turbocharged direct injection petrol engine and a dual clutch gearbox putting power to the wheels.

Mitsubishi XM

The ‘X’ in ‘XM’ stands for crossover and ‘M’ for MPV. This SUV-MPV has an aggressive looking face with Mitsubishi’s Dynamic Shield grille. The XM has seating for 7 and features an infotainment screen on the console, hidden door handles and cameras in place of wing mirrors. The production version is said to be powered by a 1.5-liter petrol engine driving the front wheels.

Nissan Navara EnGuard

The EnGuard is a rescue truck concept with a ride height raised by 50 mm and its wheel arches get bespoke overfenders. There are roof mounted LED lights with emergency blue strobe lights, which are also on the headlights, tail lights and fenders. The load bed is packed with life-saving equipment including a drone which relays images back to a 20.5″ screen. Of course, no rescue truck is worth its weight without tow eyes and the EnGuard has that in fluorescent green.
