NZ Wheels opens new Mercedes Autohaus in Bangsar
Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Sdn Bhd (MBM) and NZ Wheels Sdn Bhd (NZ Wheels), importer and authorized dealer of Mercedes-Benz vehicles in Malaysia, today officially opened the NZ Wheels Bangsar Autohaus situated at Jalan Ara, Bangsar Baru. The new outlet is the first fully MPS II Compliant 1S Showroom in the country and is part of a network consisting of 31 Mercedes-Benz outlets nationwide.
The 13,000 sq ft facility is no stranger to the Mercedes-Benz marque, having previously housed a Brabus Centre and then a Ducati AMG Performance Centre before becoming the Mercedes-Benz Autohaus it is today. Its three-storey showroom can accommodate up to eleven display cars and it is open seven days a week from 10am to 10pm everyday.
A notable first for the showroom is the Corporate Solutions Centre designed to serve the needs of corporate clients, the first such facility in South East Asia. Business owners from small, medium sized to multinational conglomerates can now receive customised corporate solutions ranging from fleet offers to fleet financing solutions.
In his speech, Datuk Wira SM Faisal Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin, Naza Group of Companies Joint Group Executive Chairman revealed that NZ Wheels had invested a total of RM 15 million to set up the new Autohaus. He further added that the Bangsar Autohaus is also notable for housing the very first AMG Corner in the country.
Mercedes-Benz Malaysia meanwhile announced plans to invest an additional RM280 million until 2016, of which 200 will be used for its retail network with the objective of enhancing customer service.
