BMW dealers feted in Dealer Awards Night
BMW Group Malaysia recently celebrated the successful conclusion of its 2010 financial year with the BMW Dealer Awards Night. The gala event, held at the Westin Kuala Lumpur, is an annual event organized in recognition of the efforts put in by members of BMW’s dealership network in helping to achieve the Group’s sales targets in Malaysia.
Speaking during the awards presentation, Geoffrey Briscoe, Managing Director of BMW Group Malaysia said, “The past year was another record year in terms of growth for BMW as we have seen accelerated recovery from the global economic downturn across the globe and especially here in Malaysia. In 2010, BMW Group Malaysia managed to report record numbers across our business with a grand total of 4,509 vehicle sales in the country, comprising of 4,006 BMW vehicles, 222 MINI’s and 281 Motorrads. This success can certainly be attributed in part to the respected partners throughout our 15-strong 4S dealership network.”
At the dinner, top BMW dealerships and sales personnel were given their due awards and recognition for outstanding performances throughout the year. Winners for the 2010 financial year are as follows:
Platinum Award Category (dealerships with sales of more than 200 cars per annum)
