Wild on Wheels – Classic Car Event to be held at Cyberjaya on 2nd December 2007
Wild on Wheels 2007 at Cyberjaya (‘WOW 2007@Cyberjaya) from 1 to 2nd December 2007, is set to be the largest classic car show in Malaysia. This event will showcase one of the largest and rarest collection of unique classic and vintage automobiles. It is also designed to nurture the domestic classic motoring movement by offering a wide array of activities and competitions.
WOW 2007@Cyberjaya is organized by AMC Motors Incorporated (Asia) Sdn Bhd and Cyberjaya. There is an interesting line-up of activities for the weekend; Classic & Vintage cars competition (by various categories), modern motoring and motorsports, Classic Car Concourse, Gymkhana, Time trial, Go Kart, Pocket Bikes, and there is RM30,000 in prize money up for grabs for all levels of competition.
There is even a treasure hunt for the more sedate! About 300 cars are expected to participate and 5,000 visitors are expected to join in the fun!
Cyberjaya is a strategic and central location for a huge event like this and the inaugural event will be held at the sprawling park of Kelab Komuniti Cyberjaya, Cyberjaya, Selangor. The programme starts from 8 am on 1 Dec 07 and will end by 3pm the next day.
The organizers expect the weekend event to be fun filled, educational and to raise the standards of classic motoring events in Malaysia. They also plan to make this a yearly event, attracting regional and maybe global participation in years to come. It is also poised to attract tourists, especially car enthusiasts from around the world.
