Free Diagnostics For Alfa Romeo Owners
Free Diagnostics For Alfa Romeo Owners
Shah Alam, Thursday (January 12, 2006) – Sime Darby Auto Italia Sdn Bhd (Auto Italia), the main distributor for Alfa Romeo in Malaysia, will be offering free electronics diagnostic examinations for Alfa Romeo models starting from the current range to older models such as the 155 and even the Alfa 33. The ‘by appointment only’ campaign will be held from January 15 to April 30, 2006.
The latest after sales service campaign is aimed at meeting the needs of Alfa Romeo owners in the country.
The electronics diagnostic examination will be conducted by trained technicians using the Examiner Smart computer with the latest version 6.3 of the Alfa Romeo proprietary software. Once plugged in, the computer will be able to interrogate the on-board computer modules and identify any faults stored in the modules.
Auto Italia After sales Manager Amrick Singh said that Auto Italia has invested in three units of the Examiner Smart computer costing RM30,000 each.
The free electronics diagnostic examination campaign is part of Auto Italia’s efforts at winning the hearts and minds of Alfa Romeo owners in the country in order to rebuild the Italian marque.
Auto Italia has pledged to offer professional, transparent and reasonably priced after-sales support services to Alfa Romeo owners in the country. It has also made genuine Alfa Romeo parts more easily accessible in the market at reasonable prices by channeling officially imported supplies to independent spare parts retailers and workshops nationwide.
“Our main objective is to make Alfa Romeo ownership an enjoyable experience. Reliable after sales service and availability of parts must never again be an issue for the Alfa Romeo brand. While we want to work with all service providers out there to achieve this, we at Auto Italia also want to set the benchmark,” Amrick said.
Auto Italia is backed by the resources and experience of the Sime Darby Motor Group and FIAT Auto Spa, the manufacturer of Alfa Romeo.
