Leapmotor Breaks Sales Record with Over 50,000 Units Sold In July 2025

Leapmotor, one of China’s fastest-growing new energy vehicle (NEV) start-ups, has achieved its highest monthly sales to date by delivering 50,129 vehicles in July 2025 (up 4.4% from June). This milestone, which includes both domestic and export sales, marks a 126% year-over-year (YoY) increase and cements Leapmotor’s position as the top-performing NEV start-up in China for the month. Leapmotor C10

Crossing the 50,000-unit threshold for the first time, Leapmotor’s performance showcases the brand’s continued momentum, driven by increasing demand for intelligent, affordable EVs with futuristic design and advanced tech. This latest milestone builds on the company’s strong performance in the first half of 2025, during which Leapmotor delivered 221,664 units, placing it ahead of many established rivals in China’s highly competitive EV landscape. 

Leapmotor’s July sales record reflects its appeal across a rapidly evolving market landscape, especially its affordably priced models. In Malaysia, Leapmotor is gradually building brand recognition. Through its partnership with Cycle & Carriage, it has brought the showroom experience closer to consumers, with the opening of pop-up outlets in shopping malls.
