Toyo Proxes Sport 2 Ultra High Performance Tyre Rolls Into Malaysia

Toyo Tyre Sales and Marketing Malaysia Sdn Bhd (Toyo Tires) has updated its product range with the launch of the new Toyo Proxes Sport 2 ultra high performance tyre. Its new UHP tyre is designed with the latest technology and innovation to cater to a wide range of driving, and providing exceptional performance, safety, and durability.

Improving over its predecessor are 2 features i.e. precise handling and exceptional wet grip. The Proxes Sport 2 tyre features a unique asymmetrical design pattern that is optimised for both wet and dry conditions. The Traction Groove Edge works with the Lateral Grooves and High Stiffness Outer Rib ensure good traction and grip even in the wet.

The advanced asymmetric tread compound is also designed to ensure precise handling cornering stability and improved wet traction. The Proxes Sport 2 tyre is constructed with a rigid compound on the outside half of the tyre and a flexible compound on the inner half to give it both rigidity and flexibility to handle cornering forces and provide optimal grip.

The Toyo Proxes Sport 2 comes in 31 sizes, between 18″ and 20″, to fit a wide range of vehicles from the C-segment (including compact executives) up to the F-segment. Its tyre section width ranges from 215 mm to 275 mm.

The Toyo Proxes Sport 2 can be purchased at any Toyo Centres, with prices ranging from RM700 to RM1,300 per tyre, depending on the size.

Along with the introduction of the Proxes Sport 2 is the Toyo Open Country A/T III (OPA/T 3). This is an all-terrain tyre with increased lateral grooves for improved off-road traction, to handle challenging conditions. This versatile tyre is designed to handle both on and off-road adventures, and caters to various driving preferences.

This all-terrain tyre features an aggressive tread pattern that provides excellent traction on various surfaces, including dirt and gravel. The OPA/T 3 also incorporates Toyo’s proprietary T-Mode technology and Nano Balance technology to provide a balance between comfort and performance.

The OPA/T 3 is available in 14 sizes, with prices ranging from RM500 to RM1,200 per tyre, depending on the size.
