UMW Toyota Motor Sees Sales Trend Up In May 2022

UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd continues to see the sales trend for Toyota and Lexus grow at a steady pace. In May, there were 7,442 Toyota vehicles sold, while it was 137 for Lexus, making it a total of 7,579 vehicles. In the past 5 months of 2022, the cumulative total of Toyota and Lexus vehicles sold amounted to 36,972 units. This is a 9% improvement over the same period in 2021 (34,026 vehicles). This is despite the forecast that vehicle sales in Malaysia will be depressed for the rest of the year.
