SoloEra Electric Motorcycles Make Global Debut At Malaysia Autoshow 2025; Local Assembly To Begin In June
A new chapter in Malaysia’s electric mobility journey is taking shape at the Malaysia Autoshow 2025 with the global preview of SoloEra, an all-new high-value electric motorcycle brand developed by Blueshark. Making its first public appearance at the Petronas booth in Hall A at MAEPS, Serdang (9 – 15 May), SoloEra introduces 3 models i.e. the Solo 1, Solo 2, and Solo 3, aimed at revolutionising the accessibility of electric two-wheelers in Malaysia.
Positioned as a value-oriented sub-brand under Blueshark, SoloEra is designed to offer Malaysians affordable, smart, and sustainable mobility, backed by Blueshark’s proven battery-swapping ecosystem and smart vehicle technology. The move signifies a major step toward mainstream electric motorcycle adoption in Malaysia, aligning with national goals outlined in the National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR). 
Designed For The Masses, Built For The Future
While official specifications and pricing will be revealed closer to their launch in June 2025, SoloEra’s design philosophy is already clear: simplicity, affordability, and forward-thinking sustainability. The three SoloEra models will be assembled locally at EPMB’s facility in Glenmarie, Shah Alam, reinforcing Blueshark’s commitment to growing the local EV ecosystem.
SoloEra’s introduction supports Malaysia’s push to become a regional leader in electric mobility. With lower-cost entry points and reliance on Blueshark’s existing infrastructure, the new brand will help accelerate 2WEV (two-wheeled electric vehicle) adoption in both urban and suburban areas.
The SoloEra models are expected to deliver performance comparable to current premium electric motorcycles, but at a price point that’s attractive to first-time buyers, students, gig workers, and cost-conscious commuters.

The trio of SoloEra motorcycles in on exclusive preview at the Petronas booth in Hall A of the Malaysia Autoshow 2025 in MAEPS, Serdang. Following the event, the models will be showcased at the Blueshark Showroom and 3S Centre in Glenmarie, where you can experience the brand up close ahead of its official launch.
