Jetour Launches VT9 SUV At Malaysia Autoshow 2025, Expands Travel+ Line-up

Jetour Malaysia has officially launched its latest SUV, the Jetour VT9, at the Malaysia Autoshow 2025, marking a step forward in the brand’s growth within the local automotive market. Designed with families in mind, the VT9 blends smart engineering, premium features, and adventurous design in a spacious 7-seater package.

Unveiled at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS), the VT9 carries the “VT” badge for “Venture” – a nod to Jetour’s Travel+ philosophy of meaningful, journey-focused mobility. The “9” signifies space, versatility, and premium comfort – attributes that modern families and urban explorers value in an SUV.

Rugged Yet Refined Design

Built on a robust platform, the Jetour VT9 stands out with a 1.9-metre-wide body, athletic stance, and a sleek silhouette. Key exterior highlights include:

• The signature Jetour X-Face front grille

• Lantern-style daytime running lights inspired by Chinese culture

• Dual twin tailpipes for a sporty finish

• LED lighting systems for high visibility

The VT9 is offered in a striking colour palette i.e. Star Black, Khaki White, Phantom Grey, Tech Grey, and Aurora Green.

Tech-Packed And Family-Friendly Interior

Inside, the VT9 prioritises space and convenience with 7 seats and foldable second and third rows, creating up to 1,680 litres of cargo capacity. Cabin highlights include:

• Leather-wrapped D-shaped steering wheel

• Perforated leather seats and aluminium accents

• A sleek 10.25″ twin-screen infotainment system with 1920×720 resolution

• Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus voice command support

The Jetour VT9 doesn’t skimp on safety. It comes with:

• Six airbags

• High-strength steel body frame

• 360° HD surround camera system

• Advanced systems including Blind Spot Detection (BSD), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), Lane Change Warning (LCW), Door Opening Warning (DOW), Hill Hold, and Hill Descent Control

Performance And Variants

Powering the VT9 is a 1.5L turbocharged engine paired with a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission (6DCT), engineered for smooth and efficient drives. Tested over 2 million kilometres, the VT9 is built for long-term durability.

Two variants are available:

• Comfort – From RM118,800: Includes LED auto headlamps, red trim accents, 19″ alloys, ambient lighting, and wireless charging.

• Prime – From RM123,800: Adds panoramic sunroof, memory seats, 6-speaker sound system, auto-dimming mirror, and a full suite of safety features.

Expanding Presence In Malaysia

Following the successful launch of the Jetour Dashing, the VT9 signals a new phase in the brand’s Malaysian journey. “Following the positive responses from Jetour Dashing, we want to continue setting the tone for what’s to come.
