Aveta Vanguard 250 Launched: Malaysia’s First Adventure-Touring Crossover Scooter

Aveta Malaysia has officially launched the Vanguard 250, a revolutionary addition to the adventure lifestyle segment. The Vanguard 250 is designed as an Adventure-Touring-Crossover (ATC) scooter, aiming to redefine maxi scooter standards by combining adventure versatility with touring comfort and practicality. 

The new scooter is built upon the proven Piaggio Nexus 250 platform and is equipped with a Bosch electronic fuel injection system. Aveta claims that it has undergone over 20,000 kilometers of rigorous testing across Malaysia’s diverse landscapes. This has ensured the scooter’s stability, durability, and rider comfort across rugged terrains, long highway journeys and city streets.

The Vanguard 250 boasts a design tailored to both adventure and touring riders. Key features include:

• Off-Road Capability: High ground clearance, superior braking control, and robust suspension for off-road performance.

• Touring Comfort: Ergonomic seat, large 13-litre fuel tank, and a long wheelbase for enhanced stability during long journeys.

• Adaptability: Adjustable handlebar and switchable traction control for seamless transitions between on-road and off-road terrains.

The Aveta Vanguard 250 is available in 2 variants i.e. Standard and Special Edition. The key common features include:

The Standard variant is available only in Nano Grey paint scheme and is fitted with:

Meanwhile, the Special Edition variant comes in Majestic Green and Titanium Grey paint jobs, and is equipped with:

Pricing & Availability

The Vanguard 250 Standard variant is priced at RM14,888, while the Vanguard 250 Special Edition is priced at RM16,388. Both prices exclude insurance and road tax. The scooter also comes with a 2-year (or 20,000 km, whichever comes first) warranty.
