GoCar And drivEV Launch Electric Car Sharing In Johor Bahru

GoCar Malaysia and Yinson GreenTech’s drivEV has started a partnership to expand its electric vehicle (EV) car-sharing initiative in Johor Bahru, offering eco-friendly transportation options to residents and visitors. For a start, this collaboration introduces the availability of the GAC Aion Y Plus and GWM Ora Good Cat EVs for booking at strategic locations such as Toppen Shopping Centre. 

Zero Emission Mobility For Johor Bahru

This initiative supports the growing demand for zero-emission mobility in southern Malaysia, enabling Johor Bahru residents as well as visitors from Singapore to opt for a more sustainable form of travel. Bolstering this collaboration is GoCar’s partnership with Handal Indah Sdn Bhd (HISB), a subsidiary of HI Mobility Berhad, to provide seamless travel connections via electric Causeway Link buses.     • Range: Up to 400 km (NEDC)
    • Charging: approximately 40 – 50 minutes to 80%
    • Features: Intelligent Parking Assist, Apple CarPlay compatibility
  • Aion Y Plus Elite: Starting from RM27.90/hour or RM279/day
    • Range: Up to 490 km (NEDC)
    • Charging: approximately 45 minutes to 80%
    • Features: 14.6″ infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay / Android Auto, exceptional rear legroom
