Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Showcased 6 New Models At Luxury Showcase

Earlier this month, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia hosted an exclusive Luxury Showcase, unveiling 6 exquisite vehicles that exemplify the pinnacle of automotive design, innovation, and performance. The showcase was to reinforced the brand’s position as a leader in the luxury segment, captivating attendees with models that seamlessly blend cutting-edge engineering and sophisticated craftsmanship.

Mercedes-AMG G 63

The Mercedes-AMG G 63 stands out as an icon of off-road brilliance and on-road power. Fitted with a 4.0L V8 biturbo engine producing 585 hp (430 kW) and 850 Nm of torque, this SUV takes just 4.4 seconds for a 0-100 km/h sprint, and reaches a maximum 240 km/h (with AMG Performance Package). Enhanced by a 48-volt integrated starter-generator system, it provides additional boosts of 15 kW (20 hp) and 200 Nm for short bursts of power. Further, the AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL suspension with active, hydraulic roll stabilisation and adaptive adjustable damping enhances ride and handling.

Its bold exterior featured the AMG-specific radiator grille, 22″ cross-spoke forged wheels, and the AMG Night Package with sporty design elements in black or dark chrome. Inside, luxury met functionality with nappa leather, carbon fibre trim, active multi-contour seats, and the ENERGIZING Package Plus with massage function and seat climate control for superior comfort.

Mercedes-AMG SL 63 4MATIC+

Returning to its roadster roots, the Mercedes-AMG SL 63 4MATIC+ wows with a “One Man, One Engine” 4.0L V8 biturbo engine delivering 585 hp and 800 Nm of torque. The vehicle achieves a 0-100 km/h sprint in just 3.6 seconds and reached a top speed of 315 km/h. It also has an AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL suspension with active anti-roll stabilisation, AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9G transmission, and rear-axle steering.

Its exterior design is bolstered by AMG Night Package II, AMG Exterior Carbon Package, 21″ AMG 10-twin-spoke forged wheels, yellow AMG calipers, and DIGITAL LIGHT with Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus. Meanwhile, its interior is decked out with AMG carbon fibre trim, AMG Performance steering wheel, AMG Performance seats in nappa leather, and a Burmester surround sound system, as well as Driving Assistance Package.

Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S 4MATIC+ and Coupé

Both the GLE 63 S and its Coupé version showcased feature remarkable performance with a 4.0L V8 biturbo engine producing 612 hp. Paired with an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) and a 48-volt system, these SUVs combine power with efficiency. Acceleration from 0-100 km/h takes just 3.9 seconds, and the AMG Driver’s Package increases the top speed to 280 km/h. The AMG GLE has a fully variable AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive and the AMG RIDE CONTROL+ air suspension with adaptive adjustable damping.

In the front are new MULTIBEAM LED headlights with Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus. Rounding out the exterior look are the AMG Night Package, and a panoramic sliding sunroof. The interiors featured AMG Exclusive nappa leather, carbon fibre trims, and advanced amenities such as ambient lighting, EASY-PACK tailgate, temperature-controlled cup holders, KEYLESS-GO Comfort Package, and HANDS-FREE ACCESS, and Burmester surround sound system. Additionally, the AMG Performance steering wheel has a striking carbon fibre design combined with MICROCUT microfibre for a visual and tactile highlight. 

Mercedes-Benz GLC 350 e 4MATIC Coupé

The plug-in hybrid GLC 350 e Coupé offers an all-electric range exceeding 100 km (WLTP), combining practicality, and sustainability with luxury. Its AMG Line exterior and 20″ AMG multi-spoke light-alloy wheels add to its sporty look. Other features such as the panoramic sliding sunroof, aluminium-look running boards with rubber studs, polished aluminium roof rails, and DIGITAL LIGHT feature complemented by Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus provides drivers with high visibility in various driving conditions.

Inside, ARTICO man-made leather, Burmester 3D surround sound, and the Driving Assistance Plus package delivered premium comfort and safety.

Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupé

The AMG GLC 43 Coupé combines striking design and athletic performance with its 2.0L 4-cylinder AMG from engine from Affalterbach generating 421 hp and 500 Nm of torque. 0-100 km/h acceleration time is clocked at 4.8 seconds while top speed is 250 km/h. Depending on the situation, the system also briefly provides an additional boost of 10 kW (14 hp) from the belt-driven starter generator (RSG).

After the Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC, this model is the 2nd locally-assembled Mercedes-AMG vehicle featuring the signature hand-built engine. Distinctive AMG elements include the AMG-specific radiator trim, 21″ Y-spoke alloy wheels, brake calipers painted in silver, and AMG Night Package. The interior comes with AMG carbon fibre trim, AMG Performance steering wheel in nappa leather, centre console in metal-structure finish, MANUFAKTUR seat belts in red, MBUX augmented reality for navigation, Burmester surround sound system, KEYLESS-GO Comfort Package, THERMOTRONIC automatic climate control, Driving Assistance Package Plus, and ambient lighting.
