According to Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof, the MyTourist Pass is part of Malaysia’s ongoing efforts to promote sustainable tourism. The launch of this pass aligns with Visit Malaysia Year 2026 and coincides with Malaysia’s hosting of the ASEAN Summit 2025. The initiative hopes to make Kuala Lumpur a more accessible and tourist-friendly city, while supporting the growth of the tourism sector.

Transport Minister Anthony Loke also highlighted the MyTourist Pass’s importance in encouraging the use of public transport, which will ease the exploration of Kuala Lumpur and its surrounding areas. He added that the collaboration with over 30 partners, including top restaurants and shopping centres, would make it a valuable investment for tourists.RapidKL_Double Decker Bus_Volvo
