Additionally, this SUV boasts a 450 mm water wading ability, further enhancing its capability to tackle some off-roading or Klang Valley floods. On the other hand, the 2-wheel-drive variant will have 3 driving modes i.e. Eco, Normal and Sport, but is physically identical.

A highlight of the Omoda C9 is its suspension system (MacPherson fronts, multi-link rears) which is designed to deliver exceptional handling with its Continuous Damping Control (CDC) technology that adjusts to different road conditions. Coupled with Michelin 245/50 R20 tyres, the C9 promises superior stability and grip. Complementing these is a 540° surround-view camera system for better visibility of the vehicle’s surroundings.
Other safety tech includes a comprehensive suite of Level 2.5 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) which include features like Adaptive Cruise Control, Integrated Cruise Assist, Traffic Jam Assist, Lane Departure Prevention, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Change Assist, Emergency Lane Keeping, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Front Collision Warning, Multi Collision Braking, Rear Collision Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Departure Ahead Inform, Blind Spot Detection, Door Opening Warning, and Driver Monitoring System.
