MINI Malaysia Launches MINI Impact Program By URBAN-X To Empower Malaysian Startups
MINI Malaysia has introduced the MINI Impact Program by URBAN-X, a global initiative designed to support innovative urban technology startups. Subsequent to the successful pilot initiatives in several countries, URBAN-X project has reached Malaysia and is calling for submissions from Malaysian startups that are focused on creating innovative sustainable solutions that address the most pressing urban challenges.
A Call for Urban Changemakers
The MINI Impact Program is a 4-week-long intensive program targeting startups which are focused on climate technology and transformative urban solutions. If selected, the startup will be participating remotely for 3 weeks before heading to URBAN-X in New York City for the final week.
This global initiative started in 2022 has seen success across Europe, America, Africa, and Asia. In 2024, the program expands to include startups from Malaysia, the Netherlands, Japan, the UK, India, Mexico, and Italy.
Support for Malaysian Startups
Malaysian startups selected for the program will receive tailored guidance from URBAN-X’s extensive resources. This includes access to engineering and design expertise, investment capital from venture partner JVP, and connections with investors, policymakers, and industry leaders. The goal is to help startups refine and scale their innovations to address pressing urban challenges.
