Volkswagen Malaysia Aims For Record-Breaking VW Golf Fan Fest At Sepang International Circuit
Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) is gearing up to set a new record at the 2024 Golf Fan Fest for the largest gathering of Volkswagen Golf owners and enthusiasts in Malaysia. This event is scheduled to take place on 24 August 2024 (Saturday) at the Sepang International Circuit, from 11 AM to 8 PM.
The Golf Fan Fest promises an exciting day packed with activities designed to celebrate the rich legacy of the VW Golf. All visitors can look forward to a wide range of activities including driving experiences, a gymkhana driving challenge, Golf R drift taxi rides, as well as track sessions.
One of the event’s highlights is a special showcase tracing the evolution of the Golf over the past 5 decades. This display is expected to captivate fans as it chronicles the journey of one of Volkswagen’s most successful models, with over 37 million units sold in more than 70 countries.
Adding to the excitement, the 8 finalists from Volkswagen’s Biggest Golf Fan contest, which took place on social media over the last month, will face off in a finale showdown. The winner will earn the coveted title of Malaysia’s biggest Golf fan, along with a grand prize.
As the Golf celebrates its 50th anniversary, VPCM’s event is set to be a fitting tribute to this iconic model, known and loved worldwide. Beyond the festivities, there will also be opportunities for attendees to test drive the latest Volkswagen models, participate in tech talks, and join workshops covering various aspects of Golf ownership.
