KLIMS 2024 “Beyond Mobility” Theme Will Showcase Technology And Sustainable Solutions
The Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS) is set to make a return in its 10th edition with the theme, “Beyond Mobility.” Scheduled to be held from 5 to 11 December 2024 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur, KLIMS 2024 promises to be an event reflecting the significant growth and transformation within the Malaysian automotive industry.
With electric vehicles (EVs) and sustainable mobility solutions seeing a growth in the local market, KLIMS 2024, organised by the Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA), is set to highlight this trend. The event’s emphasis on sustainability and advancements in EV technology is timely, given the heightened environmental awareness among consumers and the automotive sector’s rapid evolution. 
This year, KLIMS is partnering with the Malaysia Automotive Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii), an agency of the Ministry of Investment, Trade & Industry (MITI). This collaboration aims to enhance the capabilities of the automotive ecosystem in line with the National Automotive Policy (NAP) 2020.

KLIMS 2024 is set to be a premier event in the automotive calendar, showcasing the latest innovations and technological advancements. The theme, “Beyond Mobility,” underscores the event’s focus on sustainability, electrification, and autonomous driving. Visitors can expect exhibits from leading automotive brands and partners, featuring cutting-edge and innovative mobility solutions. 
Reflecting the industry’s move towards a sustainable future, KLIMS 2024 will provide a platform for various stakeholders, including vendors, charging equipment suppliers, and service providers, to exhibit their latest products and technologies. This aligns with the government’s commitment to achieving net zero carbon emissions.
KLIMS 2024 is also supported by key industry associations such as the Motorcycle and Scooter Assemblers and Distributors Association of Malaysia (MASAAM), Automotive Federation Malaysia (AFM), and the Malaysian Automotive Component Parts Manufacturers Association (MACPMA). Additionally, event partners like Carsome, Big Onion, and Motonation will contribute to making the event comprehensive and engaging for all visitors.
Brands which have already committed to participating include Perodua, Proton, Toyota, Honda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, KIA, Mazda, Kawasaki, Great Wall, MG Motor, GAC Motor, Allianz, V-Kool, Kineta, PG Pro Perma Glass, NVK Interior, GoInsuran, WTC Automotif, and TCCL. More brands are expected to be announced as the event date approaches.
