Redline Fitness Games Powered By Nissan Partners With Rakan Muda To Promote Active Lifestyle
Redline Fitness Games Powered by Nissan has teamed up with Rakan Muda, an initiative under the Ministry of Youth and Sports, to encourage Malaysians to lead healthier and more active lives. The partnership was announced by Yang Berhormat Hannah Yeoh, Minister of Youth and Sports, during this year’s Hari Belia Negara.
This partnership highlights the commitment of all organisations involved in fostering a strong youth community and promoting active lifestyles. At the launch event, Redline and Rakan Muda introduced a series of fitness competitions and motivational sessions led by fitness experts. These activities aimed to inspire young attendees to embrace more active lifestyles and served as the foundation for ongoing initiatives to make fitness accessible to all youths, regardless of their socio-economic backgrounds.
“Partnering with Rakan Muda marks a significant step forward for this year’s Redline Fitness Games,” said Mr. Callum Meehan, Events Director of Redline. “Their involvement has been essential in enriching our programme, allowing us to better connect and inspire Malaysia’s youth. This partnership mirrors our joint dedication to health and fitness, which is crucial for building a strong, active community.”
Building on these activities, Nissan took the opportunity to announce an update for its main event in July i.e. the Nissan Navara pickup truck prize. This follows a successful social media campaign that achieved over 1,000 shares in just 7 days. The prize aims to motivate continued training and enhance fitness among Malaysians, with one lucky participant set to win it this July.
“At Nissan, we hold steadfast to the commitment of providing more than a mere mode of transportation. We are dedicated to crafting experiences that not only transport you physically but elevate your journey, and this is perfectly shown through our participation in Hari Belia Negara together with Redline. The event embodies the very essence of Nissan and we hope to empower the youths to push their limits and discover new excitement,” said Tiffany Tan, General Manager of Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd.
In addition, Redline and Nissan have teamed up with Sokong to support Yayasan Chow Kit, a 24-hour crisis and drop-in centre for at-risk children and teenagers. This initiative aims to foster societal change and promote youth fitness. REDLINE will continue this initiative at the main event on 13 – 14 July 2024.
Redline Fitness Games Powered by Nissan is projected to be the largest fitness competition in Southeast Asia’s history, providing an opportunity for gym-goers and fitness enthusiasts across the region.
