Red Bull Malaysia Sponsors PETRONAS Sprinta Yamaha Racing Teams For Cub Prix Championship 2024

As part of its commitment to nurturing grassroots talent and celebrating motorcycle racing, Red Bull Malaysia, the nation’s leading energy drink brand, announced its sponsorship of the PETRONAS Sprinta Yamaha Racing Teams at the PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit.

The partnership was formalised through a contract signing ceremony involving 3 PETRONAS Sprinta Yamaha Racing Teams i.e. PETRONAS Sprinta Yamaha 31 Racing, PETRONAS Sprinta Yamaha CKJ, and PETRONAS Sprinta Yamaha Maju Motor. This marks a significant milestone for Red Bull, reinforcing its mission to energise young Malaysian motorcycle racing talents. All 3 teams will be competing in Round 3 of the PETRONAS MAM Malaysian Cub Prix Championship 2024 scheduled for 1 – 2 June at the PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit.

Established in 2009, the PETRONAS Sprinta Yamaha CKJ Racing Team is known for its forward-looking approach and talented young riders like Afif Amran and Akid Aziz, who have achieved multiple Overall Champion titles in the PETRONAS MAM Malaysian Cub Prix Championships. PETRONAS Sprinta Yamaha Maju Motor Racing Team

Founded in 1997 by former rider Yong Ying Hoe, the PETRONAS Sprinta Yamaha Maju Motor Racing Team holds the record for the most championship titles in the PETRONAS MAM Malaysian Cub Prix Championship. Red Bull Malaysia’s sponsorship of these teams underscores its dedication to promoting excellence in motorcycle racing, fostering young talent, and celebrating the competitive spirit of the sport. As part of this partnership, Red Bull will soon be running a contest, offering 2 lucky winners a chance to each own a limited edition Yamaha Y15ZR motorcycle exclusively signed by selected riders from the 3 PETRONAS Sprinta Yamaha Racing Teams. Red Bull also took the opportunity to introduce a new beverage series i.e. Red Bull Energy Sparkling, for those seeking a light, invigorating energy boost. Additionally, Red Bull Gold is now available in a new larger 325 ml can. Designed for those with high-energy needs, the Red Bull Gold 325 ml contains Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, and 1,300 mg of Taurine. Both the existing 250 ml and new 325 ml variants will be available from RM3.10 and RM3.70 per can, at major supermarkets and convenience stores.
