smart #3 Open For Booking; smart #1 Gets New Prices
smart Malaysia has unveiled the new smart #3 SUV coupe at the Malaysia Autoshow 2024, making Malaysia the first in Southeast Asia to do so.
The smart #3 is a celebration of innovation and design excellence. With a platform and technology from Geely, and design from Mercedes-Benz, it is already a recipient of the prestigious iF Design Award and the Red Dot Design Award. 
“I am thrilled to welcome the smart #3 to our premium all-electric portfolio, now offering three exciting variants,” said Zhang Qiang, Chief Executive Officer of smart Malaysia. “Our announcement of the #3 early-bird deal rewards customers who seize the opportunity to become among the first owners of the smart #3. As we gear up for the commencement of deliveries in Q3 this year, our 13 dealerships are fully prepared to provide exceptional service. Early birds booking the smart #3 will be rewarded with exclusive smart official merchandise worth up to RM1,500 (exclusive to the first 333 buyers). The RM1,000 booking fee is refundable.
Introducing The Premium Dynamic Urban Companion Line-up: Brabus, Premium, and Pro
Tailored for the Malaysian market, the smart #3 is available in 3 distinct models i.e. Brabus, Premium, and Pro.
Each variant is a blend of unique features, from elegant design to performance. All variants feature best-in-class 22kWh AC charging capability that can take the battery state-of-charge from 10% to 80% in under 3 hours. smart #3 is also equipped with 23 high-precision sensors to support 21 ADAS functions for a high level of safety. 
The Premium model boasts a Panoramic Halo Roof and CyberSparksLED+ with adaptive high-beam assist. and is powered by a single motor with up to 200 kW (268 hp) 343 Nm of torque, capable of a WLTP range of 455 km. The Brabus variant on the other hand, is designed for performance, with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup that offers 315 kW (422 hp) and 543 Nm. This one can do a 0 – 100 km/h sprint in 3.7 seconds and has a driving range of 415 km (WLTP).
smart #1 Premium & Pro Models: More Accessible, More Value
smart Malaysia has also revised the pricing structure for the smart #1 Premium and Pro models. This is in line with smart Global’s price realignment and aims to make these urban vehicles more accessible. The smart #1 Brabus remains at RM249,000.
The new prices of the smart #1 Premium and Pro (on-the-road without insurance) are:
- Premium : RM209,000
- Pro : RM169,000
As for the existing smart #1 owners, smart Malaysia is offering a complimentary 4-year service package to help reinforce the brand’s commitment to customer satisfaction and community engagement.
