Global premium off-road SUV brand, Jaecoo, is making a significant move in Malaysia as the country surpasses Thailand to become Southeast Asia’s 2nd largest automotive market, behind Indonesia. Recognising Malaysia’s growing appeal among automakers, Jaecoo Malaysia has committed to establishing a robust sales and service network in the country as one of its plans to strengthen its brand presence.
As part of its long-term growth strategy, Jaecoo Malaysia has partnered with 30 dealers to reinforce its commitment to the Malaysian market. “Jaecoo Malaysia is committed to long-term growth in Malaysia backed by a strong service network. Hand-in-hand with our dealer partners, we are excited to deliver best-in-class vehicles equipped with innovative technology and the absolute best customer experience to the Malaysian market. Our brand philosophy, ‘From Classic, Beyond Classic’ clearly outlines our aim to redefine attainable luxury as a challenger SUV brand. As you can see JAECOO is prepared to make its mark in Malaysia,” commented Jaecoo Malaysia President, Leo Chen.
The 30 dealers will manage 35 dealerships, overseeing the distribution and aftersales service of Jaecoo’s premium SUVs across the central, northern, and southern regions of Peninsular Malaysia, as well as in East Malaysia.
Jaecoo Malaysia is looking to enhance the premium SUV ownership experience with its independent sales and service network as it prepares to launch its maiden product, Jaecoo J7. Dealerships will feature signature brand elements such as a Super Walkway, a coffee bar, product displays, and a dedicated delivery lounge to elevate the overall customer experience.
Supporting its dealership network is a dedicated auto parts warehouse and a production plant in Malaysia. “Our investments encompass an ecosystem of strategically positioned dealers and comprehensive facilities, complemented by a strong team of service advisors and highly skilled technicians. This is the foundation of Jaecoo’s strength and a testament of our readiness to launch in Malaysia,” explained Vice President, Emily Lek.
