Chery Auto Malaysia Celebrates First Anniversary With Exciting Offers For New Customers
Chery Auto Malaysia is celebrating its first anniversary and is offering new customers with exciting deals. From 1 May 1 to 30 June 2024, customers who purchase a new Chery vehicle will enjoy a 2-year free service maintenance package that covers both parts and labour. This special offer is available across Chery Malaysia’s SUV lineup, including the Omoda 5, Tiggo 8 Pro, as well as the all-electric Omoda E5. 
In addition to the new maintenance package, Chery continues to offer a comprehensive 7-year warranty (or up to 150,000 km) and 5 years of complimentary labour service. As an extra for buyers of the Tiggo 8 Pro 7-seater SUV, a complimentary pair of Automatic Deployable Side Steps, valued at RM2,999, will also be thrown in. These side steps extend automatically when the doors are opened, offering better convenience to enter and exit the vehicle. 
The Tiggo 8 Pro, priced at RM159,800 (Peninsular Malaysia), is available in Dark Black, Khaki White, and the Limited Edition Aurora Green. It is powered by a 2.0L TGDi engine, with 256 hp and 390 Nm of torque, that is paired with a 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) for a dynamic yet efficient driving experience. The fuel consumption rating is officially 7.4L/100km.
Meanwhile, the Omoda 5, which starts from RM108,800, features a 1.5L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine producing 156 hp and 230 Nm of torque; the engine is mated with a 9-speed continuously variable transmission (CVT). Exterior colours available are Khaki White, Dark Black, and Phantom Grey for the Omoda 5C model, with Khaki White with red stripe, and Dark Black with red stripe available exclusively for the Omoda 5H. 
The Omoda E5 EV is priced at RM146,800 and comes in Aqua Green, Khaki White, Phantom Grey, and Dark Black. Its electric drivetrain (with 201 hp and 340 Nm of torque) offers a driving range of up to 430 km (WLTP). Energy comes from a high-capacity 61 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) blade battery which takes about 28 minutes to get from 30% to 80% state-of charge via fast charging. The Omoda E5 also features the latest Advanced Driver Assistance System 2.5 with 17 safety functions.
Additionally, selected Chery showrooms now have the Tiggo 7 Pro on display, pending its official launch. The estimated price is expected to be below RM130,000, and showrooms are accepting bookings. The Tiggo 7 Pro will also be showcased at the Malaysia Autoshow 2024 this week.
