MAN Malaysia Shows Off Full Range of Commercial Vehicles at MCVE 2024

MAN Truck & Bus (M) Sdn Bhd (MAN Malaysia) is showing off its full range of products at the 2024 Malaysia Commercial Vehicle Expo (MCVE), which ends today (11 May) at 7 PM.

“We had a wonderful outing in MCVE 2022 when we wowed the crowd with our EURO V specification MAN Trucks, including our flagship MAN TGX.  This time around, we are delighted to present the full range of MAN low-emission commercial vehicles for the first time in Malaysia, including our popular MAN TGE Van,” said MAN Malaysia Managing Director Andrew O’Brooks. MAN TGS Euro 5_MAN TGE Van

Highlighting its showcase is the MAN TGS Prime Mover which is available in 2 variants i.e. 6×4 and 6×2 ADR. It is Malaysia’s best-selling Euro 5 specification truck and features improved aerodynamics and enhanced safety features. Also on display is the MAN RR5 Bus/Coach chassis which is now equipped with a Euro 5-specification engine as standard. This proven chassis is ideal for intercity transport providers who value fuel efficiency, low maintenance and high durability and sustainability. A full suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) further enhances the safety level of this bus/coach.

Also debuting at the MCVE is the MAN TGE Van which offers versatility and customisation options. As one of the best-selling vans in Europe, the MAN TGE is powered by a fuel-efficient and low-emission 2.0L turbodiesel engine. It can be customised as a Panel Van, Chassis Cab, Crew Cab, Combi Van or Mini Bus.

At the show, O’Brooks also emphasised MAN Malaysia’s commitment to aftersales support to help customers manage and mitigate the effects of rising costs. For business flexibility, MAN has extended service hours at the Shah Alam service centre to help owners maximise vehicle uptime. The service centre is now open from 8:30 AM until 2:30 AM, Mondays – Fridays, and allows for scheduling maintenance and repairs at night so that the trucks can be on the road in the day.

Drivers waiting for service or repair can relax in the customer lounge, equipped with recliner sofas, shower refreshments and shower facilities. Appointments can be made through the online booking service at www.man.com.my.

MAN Malaysia is also promoting its MAN Genuine Parts Ecoline range, which offer high quality remanufactured parts for older MAN trucks at savings of up to 40%, without compromising performance. “We are meeting the needs of the market here in Malaysia with these initiatives.  At MAN Malaysia, we are focused not only in selling great Trucks and Buses.  We want to help businesses power ahead with confidence, knowing that we always have their backs,” added O’Brooks.
