GWM Malaysia Revises Retail Prices Of Ora Good Cat

GWM Malaysia has unveiled a revamped pricing strategy for the Ora Good Cat. The revised retail prices start from RM113,800 and are applicable to the 2024 models.

Under the new pricing scheme, the Ora Good Cat 400 Pro wears a retail price tag of RM113,800 while the Good Cat 500 Ultra has a RM143,800 price tag. To compare, these models were priced at RM139,800 and RM169,800 respectively when they were launched in November 2022.

One of the standout features of this offering is the comprehensive warranty package designed to instill confidence in buyers. The package includes a 5-year (or 150,000 km) full-vehicle warranty, an 8-year (or 180,000 km) power battery warranty, and an 8-year (or 180,000 km) electric motor and electric motor control unit warranty. 

The Ora Good Cat 400 Pro and Good Cat 500 Ultra have a driving range of up to 400 km and 500 km respectively (NEDC cycle). The Good Cat 400 Pro’s 47.79 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery can be charged up from 30% – 80% SoC (state of charge) in about 32 minutes via DC fast charging. On the other hand, the Good Cat 500 Ultra’s larger 63.14 kWh ternary lithium battery takes about 40 minutes to do the same.

In a gesture of appreciation for existing Ora Good Cat owners, GWM Malaysia has introduced exclusive benefits to enhance their ownership experience. Existing owners are entitled to an additional 2 years of vehicle warranty, extending coverage up to 150,000 km. Additionally, they will receive an extra 5 years or 75,000 km of complimentary maintenance (inclusive of parts and labor), building on the foundation of trust and satisfaction that current owners have placed in the brand.
