The Jaecoo Premiere Experience Showcases Jaecoo J7 Before Malaysian Launch
Jaecoo Malaysia is making no effort to drape a veil of secrecy on its debut model, the Jaecoo J7, except maybe on the official price which will be revealed at launch, as well as details on warranty. Prior to the official launch, the Jaecoo J7 will be making its rounds for the public to see and touch.
Its first roadshow is a pop-up store unveiled last week at The Waterfront in Desa Parkcity, Kepong, and it will be at this location until 17 March 2024 (10 AM – 10 PM).

Malaysia happens to be the first country in Southeast Asia to get the J7, following its global introduction in Eastern Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Central and South America. 
Jaecoo is positioning itself as a brand that seamlessly blends off-road capability with refined urban aesthetics, using the SUV body styling that is currently all the rage. But with that, it aims to disrupt the conventional, and raise the bar with its brand philosophy of “From Classic, Beyond Classic.”
The brand’s introduction to Malaysia will be bolstered by a robust network of upcoming independent Jaecoo dealerships nationwide that will ensure a premium ownership experience for customers. Emily Lek, Vice President of Jaecoo Malaysia, elaborated, “Jaecoo seamlessly integrates accessible luxury, off-road prowess, and intelligent technology for enthusiasts who relish adventures off the beaten path and seek out novel experiences.” 
The Jaecoo J7 SUV claims superior engine performance with best-in-class fuel efficiency, and advanced safety features. The J7 comes with a 1.6L turbocharged petrol engine bearing 194 hp and 290 Nm of torque that is controlled by a 7-speed wet clutch automatic gearbox. Additionally, the SUV offers creature comforts such as a 540-degree camera, a 14.8″ high-definition media display, as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ventilated front seats, dual zone climate control and powered tailgate, among others.
The Jaecoo J7 will have an official launch within the first half of 2024 but in the meantime, you can visit the Jaecoo Premiere Experience (no test drives available yet) to check out this SUV which is projected to be priced in the RM160,000 region.
